The "Spangenberg" hikers' car park is located below Spangenberg Castle in Erfenstein (Palatinate) in the Elmstein Valley (L499) - in the Spangenbergstraße (Höllischtalbächlein).
From here, hike the Three Castles Trail (Drei Burgenweg) and enjoy a few pleasant hours with a stop at Forsthaus Breitenstein or Burgschänke Spangenberg (please note opening hours).
