Zwischen Wehr und Rickenbach-Bergalingen liegt das beeindruckende Naturdenkmal Solfelsen. Von ihm aus bieten sich weite Ausblicke in den Schweizer Jura und das Rheintal,

Der 5,40 Meter hohe und etwa 230 Tonnen schwere Solfelsen oder Pelzkappenstein ist aus Albtalgranit aufgebaut. Er ist kein eiszeitlicher Findling sondern entstand an Ort und Stelle. Sein heutiges Aussehen mit 88 rn³ Volumen erhielt er nach sehr langem Verwitterungsvorgang. 1895 kaufte der damalige Vorsitzende der Sektion Säckingen des Schwarzwaldvereins, Paul Andreas Streicher, das 44 ar große Areal mit dem Solfelsen, als dort ein Steinbruch angelegt wurde. Dadurch blieb der Solfelsen vor der Zerstörung bewahrt. 1950 erfolgte die Registrierung als Naturdenkmal. Eigentümer ist der Schwarzwaldverein Bad Säckingen.
