TERRA MYSTICA On the 68m long miner's slide (longest in Europe) you dive into the wonderful world underground. Seven collieries with fascinating multimedia shows about the origins of the earth, the kingdom of the underworld, the miraculous Paracelsus and a water wheel winding machine from 1831 that was originally reproduced in 2000 lets you experience the world underground up close. The final journey through the pit, 800m back to the shaft elevator, which takes you 49m up to the surface again, makes a visit to the wonder world in the mountain a unique experience.

TERRA MONTANA Via the 68m Terra Mystica miner's slide you get inside the mountain and take the mine train 2km to the 700m long circuit of the Terra Montana. In 14 stations you will learn about active mining, beginning in 800 BC. Chr. until it was closed in 1993, with original, functioning mining machines. A total of 1300 km of tunnels were dug during this time. Experience the working world of the miner from manual work to modern mechanical mining methods and listen to old Josef, who spent many years in mining and knows a lot about history....
