1992. november 10-én nyitotta meg kapuit a Postamúzeum Rádió és Televízió Múzeuma Diósdon, az egykori rövidhullámú adóállomás épületében.
Az állandó kiállítás a magyar rádiózás és televíziózás történetével ismertet meg a stúdiók, az adók és a vevőberendezések fejlődésének bemutatásán keresztül.
A galérián hangrögzítő berendezések, mérőműszerek, rádió- és televízió vevőberendezések kaptak helyet, a folyóson a katonai hírközlés és a rádióamatőrök emlékei sorakoznak.
A Békésy György emlékszobában a Nobel-díjas fizikus, akadémikus, postamérnök életútját bemutató kiállítás tekinthető meg, ennek szomszédságában, a Magyar Rádió egykori stúdiójának másában a látogatók saját hangfelvételt készíthetnek.
A múzeum kertjében a magyar műsorszórás jeles személyiségeinek emlékoszlopai és a magyar műsorszórás tárgyi emlékei láthatók. A kilátóteraszról távcsővel is megtekinthető a magyar rádió-műsorszórás védett ipari műemléke, a 314 méter magas lakihegyi antennatorony.
