Yellow 10 performance hike (circular route)
The Yellow 70, one of the long-established performance hikes, has a shorter section of a 10-kilometer circular route, which takes you through the hills of Budaörs for a walk rich in panoramas. Contrary to its name – since it is a circular route – this performance hike only partially follows the yellow marking, which somewhat diminishes the experience.
The Yellow 10 performance hike can even be seen as a family excursion. Its main attraction is the panoramic range of the Csíki Hills, but the smaller springtime details of the landscape also offer a captivating experience. Before the hike starting from Budaörs joins the S marking, it passes through Mária Valley, then at the saddle of Szállás Hill it reaches the hike's namesake marking. From there, the panoramic route of the Budaörs kopárok follows, where besides the view you can admire flowering meadows, and alongside splendid plants (e.g. pasque flower) you may spot protected animals. If lucky, you might see a Pannonian lizard sunbathing on a rock or a field-dwelling bullspider.
