BURG MAUR

Hier residierte der Zürcher Kupferstecher und Verleger David Herrliberger als Gerichtsherr von 1749 bis 1775. Entdecken Sie die Herrliberger-Sammlung mit der Ausstellung seiner druckgraphischen Werke. Im 1. Stock befindet sich das Salomon-Kabinett mit Werken von Salomon Landolt und Salomon Gessner und die Kunstkammer mit Wechselausstellungen.

Die Sagerei von 1778 besitzt ein rekonstruiertes oberschlächtiges Wasserrad, welches immer am Schweizer Mühlentag, jeweils am Samstag nach Auffahrt, in Betrieb ist. Zudem hat es ein Archiv mit Schriftgut und Bildmaterial.
