Früher ein Herrenhaus von Drahtziehern und Sensenschmieden - beherbergt das Haus heute ein Museum.
1876 wurde von Baron Schwarz von Senborn, dem Leiter der Wiener Weltausstellung 1873, ein Museum im Ort gegründet. Einige Ausstellungsstücke stammen noch aus dieser Zeit. Heute ist das Museum von Windischgarsten in einem alten Herrenhaus eines Drahtzuges untergebracht, in welchem schon seit dem 16. Jahrhundert Eisendrähte, von 1853 bis 1875 aber Sensen hergestellt worden sind. Neben bemerkenswerten Funden aus der Römerzeit, kann man Gegenstände aus der bäuerlichen und bürgerlichen Kultur, Werkzeuge von Holzknechten und Handwerkern, ein altes Klassenzimmer, regionale Gesteine u.v.m. besichtigen.
