Cheile Albacului is a natural reserve located in the Bihor Mountains, along the upper course of the Ariesul Mare River, about 2 km from the village of Albac.
Cheile Albacului is a natural reserve located in the Bihor Mountains, along the upper course of the Ariesul Mare River, about 2 km from the village of Albac. The area is known for its wild and spectacular landscapes formed by the erosion of dolomitic limestone by the Ariesul Mare River. The site features a memorial dedicated to the warriors Avram Iancu and Horea. There is a large parking area, perfect for picnics and relaxation with fresh spring water. The reserve covers approximately 35 hectares.
