Turenne Denkmal

A sign of friendship between France and Germany.

It commemorates the French Marshal Turenne (1611-1675), one of the most important generals of France. Turenne died on July 27, 1819. at a Battle near Sasbach. Information about Turenne and Sasbach can be found in the Turenne Museum.
