Das 1951 erschaffene Klever Schüsterken erinnert an die Schuhtradition in Kleve.

Das 1951 erschaffene Klever Schüsterken erinnert an die Schuhtradition in Kleve. Seit 1878 waren in Kleve über 50 Schuhfabriken mit mehreren tausend Mitarbeitern ansässig. Durch die bekannte Marke "Elefanten" wurde Kleve zum Zentrum der Kinderschuhindustrie.
