Auf dem Weg zur Burg Wildenstein hat der Schwäbische Albverein einen Schaukohlenmeiler mit einer Informationstafel errichtet. Kohlenmeiler wurden im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert für die Verhüttung der Bohnerze benötigt.
