Grabplatte Bellemer Heiner klein- EG
The so called "Bellheimer Heiner" one of the honorable sons of Bellheim is born as August Heinrich in 1881 as eights child of an innkeeper.
He is an early globetrotter- travels throug Germany, Switzerland and France. In 1904 he shipped to the USA and lived there a few years. But he always remembers his homevillage.
1907 he comes back to Germany and studies actor in Berlin. Afterward he is successfull on different stages in Germany and USA. In 1920 he published his first poetries in Palatinate dialect. It is the first of at least 20. He became very famous for his Palatinate writings.
In 1951 the village of Bellheim made him an honorary citizen. In 1965 he died and found his last rest on the cemetry of Bellheim.
