Die Euting-Grabstätte liegt am Westweg des Schwarzwaldvereins auf dem Seekopf oberhalb des Wildsees - zwischen Ruhestein und Darmstädter Hütte.
Dr. Julius Euting (1839 - 1913) war Bibliothekar und Orientalist, von 1876 bis 1912 Präsident des von ihm mitgegründeten Vogesenclubs und von 1900 bis 1908 Vorsitzender des Verbands Deutscher Gebirgs- und Wandervereine. Er war zudem ein großer Förderer des Schwarzwaldvereins und gab die ersten Wanderkarten und Wanderführer für den Schwarzwald heraus. Noch heute wird er als „Ruhesteinvater“ verehrt.
Jährlich zu seinem Geburtstag am 11. Juli lädt die Julius Euting-Gesellschaft alle hier vorbeikommenden Wanderer zu einem Tässchen arabischen Mokka ein, so wie es Euting selbst in seinem Testament festgelegt hat.
