Der Bürgerturm Freising, ein ehemaliger Wachtturm, wird heute als Grabenmuseum mit wechselnden Ausstellungen genutzt.
Der viergeschossige Bürgerturm am Unteren Graben ist der einzige sichtbare Rest der mittelalterlichen Stadtbefestigung. Er wurde um 1350 wohl als Wachtturm errichtet. Von einer Bürgerinitiative mit freiwilligen Spenden renoviert, wird das historische Bauwerk mit dem markanten Zeltdach seit 1996 als Grabenmuseum genutzt.
Die faszinierenden Wechselausstellungen widmen sich verschiedenen Themen oder Handwerkszünften. Bilder, Dokumente, Gebrauchsgegenstände, Raritäten und Kuriositäten: Sie werden staunen, wie lebendig Stadtgeschichte sein kann.
