From Ruin to Event Center
The Arnoldstein Monastery Ruins - founded in 1106 as a Benedictine monastery, closed in 1783 by Joseph II, and completely destroyed by a fire in 1883, have been revitalized since 1991 and have developed into the cultural center of Arnoldstein in recent years (concerts, theater performances, readings, seminars, corporate and family celebrations, civil weddings) and are well-received beyond our municipal borders. Currently, 10 spaces with an area of 800 m² are available for targeted repurposing.
