Near the middle mill, where the boundaries of Großen- and Alten-Buseck are located, on the watercourse of the Wieseck there is the Großmühle, a stately property with a water wheel of 5.20 m in diameter.
This mill is mentioned for the first time in 1320 under the name of the deserted village Romsdorf. Besides the mill operation, agriculture was of importance. Above the front door it is written in stone that the mill was built in 1598.
In the fire register of 1777 Mrs. Stallmeisterin von Bouseck is mentioned as the owner. This mill has also experienced prosperity and decline and thus a frequent change of mill owners. Mill operations were maintained until the early 1990s.
Today, the large mill is privately owned and used as a residential building.
