Der Mooskopf ist mit 871 Meter ü. M. höchster Punkt der Gemeinde Durbach. Auf dem Mooskopf befindet sich der 21 Meter hohe Aussichtsturm mit atemberaubender 360 Grad-Rundumsicht, der vom Schwarzwaldverein unterhalten wird.

Der Orkan Lothar richtete am 26. Dezember 1999 auf dem Moos- und Siedigkopf schwere Schäden an. Zuvor waren die Gipfel dicht mit hochstehenden Fichten und Tannen bewaldet, so dass vom Aussichtsturm kaum eine Fernsicht über die Baumspitzen möglich war. Nachdem der Sturm den Baumbestand komplett zerstört hat, hat man nun diese atemberaubende Rundumsicht ins Kinzig- und Renchtal, zur Rheinebene und Schwarzwaldhochstraße. Auf dem Siedigkopf befindet sich ein Denkmal, das an den Orkan erinnern soll.
