Auf dem Heuberg steht der 6 Tonnen schwere Aussichtsturm der von der Erdoberfläche bis zur Oberkante der Aussichtsplattform 12,50 m misst, der Turm selbst ist 9 m hoch. Genießen Sie einen herrlichen 360-Grad-Panoramablick auf Vogesen, Kaiserstuhl, Schwarzwald und die Vorbergzone.
Er wurde 1997 komplett renoviert und 2010 + 2011 an sicherheitstechnische Vorschriften angepasst.
Seit Ende September 2011 sind Panoramatafeln angebracht, die den 360-Grad-Panoramablick auf Vogesen, Kaiserstuhl, Schwarzwald und die Vorbergzone erläutern. Die 4 Tafeln haben eine Gesamtlänge von 11,7 m und bestehen aus 151 Einzelaufnahmen.
Die Gaststätte ist Dienstag - Sonntag geöffnet. Bei Regen allerdings geschlossen.
