The Médiathèque Valais is a cultural, patrimonial, formative and social institution at the service of people in order to meet their needs of studies, researches and leisure activities. As a bilingual institution, it is part of the Cultural office of the Canton of Valais and spreads its activities on five sites - Brig, Sion, Martigny, Saint-Maurice and eMédiathèque. These activities are being developed around 4 main missions:

• Establishing handling, preserving and emphasizing collections

• Communicating information sources

• Promoting culture and information

• Developing an access network to documentation and information
