Ehemalige Sandsteinkuhle mit Steinhauerhütte
Diese ehemalige Sandsteinkuhle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Zentrum von der Stadt Bad Bentheim. Schön zu sehen sind die glatten Sandsteinwände die steil in den inzwischen als Biotop angelegten Tümpel führen. Das alte Steinhauerhütte stand kurz vor dem Verfall und wurd im Jahr 2011 aufwendig restauriert. Heute dient die Hütte Bildhauern und Künstlern als Werkstätte. Oberhalb des Sportplatzes der Jugendherberge befindet sich ein Picknickplatz der einen eindrucksvollen Blick auf die Sandsteinkuhle bietet.
