Im 15. Jahrhundert erbaut - heute Heimat des Bayerischen Armeemuseums.

Das neue Schloss wurde in der ersten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts von Herzog Ludwig dem Gebarteten erbaut. Heute ist es Sitz des Bayerischen Armeemuseums und beherbergt zahlreiche historische Waffen, Rüstungen, Zinnfiguren und viele weitere bedeutende Exponate der Militärgeschichte.

Über den vorgelagerten Paradeplatz mit der Brunnen-Statue von Kaiser Ludwig dem Bayer führt der Weg durch den barocken Uhrturm auf den Schlosshof mit den reich verzierten Kanonen.
