Das denkmalgeschützte Bauernhaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert dient heute als gemeindliche Versammlungs- und kulturelle Begegnungsstätte.
Das Bauernhaus wurde in der damals üblichen Blockbauweise, mit Flachsatteldach und Hochlaube errichtet und steht jetzt unter Denkmalschutz. Um das Gebäude vor dem Verfall zu schützen, wurde es 1982 von der Gemeinde Edling erworben.
Heutzutage wird das Krippnerhaus als gemeindliche Versammlungs- und kulturelle Begegnungsstätte genutzt. Der Stall und die Scheune wurden komplett abgerissen, unterkellert und neu aufgebaut. Die Restaurierung für das historische Wohnhaus dauerte nur 15 Monate.
