Das Doppelwappen der Reichsstadt ziert die Front, an den Giebeln befinden sich die Statuen der Justitia und des sagenhaften Stadtgründers Offo.
Die Ursulasäule vor dem Rathaus ist der Schutzpatronin der Stadt gewidmet. Die Heilige Ursula soll im Juli 1638 auf der Stadtmauer erschienen sein, um einen Angriff der Truppen des Herzogs Bernhard von Weimar abzuwehren. Die 1961 vom Bildhauer Emil Sutor geschaffene Säule wurde vom Offenburger Ehrenbürger Dr. Franz Burda gestiftet.
