Az árvalányhajas, napsütötte kaszálón a Királyrétről a Foltán-kereszt felé vezető erdészeti földút vág át. A réten kövekből rakott tűzrakó hely várja a sütni vágyókat, a körülötte álló „farönkszékeken” meg is lehet pihenni.

- A Hárs-réthez legközelebb a Szokolya, Királyrét buszmegállót, illetve a királyréti kisvasút Királyrét végállomását találjuk.
- Eljuthatunk a rétre a Diósjenő, Arany János út buszmegállóból is.

Directions
- Királyrétről a szénpataki műút K+ jelzésein indulva, majd a K◼ jelzésekre térve jutunk el a Hárs-rétig (5,5 km, 418 m szintemelkedés).
- A Diósjenő, Arany János út buszmegállóból a Z jelzésen jutunk el a Magas-hegy-nyergébe, itt balra, a PX jelzés szekérútjáta rétünk. A Foltán-keresztnél irányt tartva, a K◼ jelzésre váltunk, ami elvezet a rétre (7,0 km, 473 m szintemelkedés).
- Diósjenőről, az erdei szabadidőparktól a ZT jelzéseken délnek indulva jutunk el a Z jelzésig, amin jobbra fordulunk. A Magas-hegy-nyergében balra térve, a PX jelzésen jutunk el a Foltán-keresztig, ahonnan a szemben induló K◼ jelzéseken érünk ki úti célunkhoz (6,3 km, 408 m szintemelkedés).

- Királyréten fizetős parkolót találunk.
- A Diósjenői Erdei Szabadidőpark előtt ingyen parkolhatunk.
