Between the federal road bridge and the small pedestrian bridge at the cemetery, a total of 36 sculptures can be viewed on both the left and right banks of the Wulka, created by various artists during three symposia from 2011 to 2013 in Trausdorf.
Directions
An ideal starting point is the sculpture "DDr. Stephan László," located right next to the federal road. From here, you can stroll along the left bank of the Wulka until you reach the bridge at Magdalenenweg and continue along the Left Wulkazeile until you reach the pedestrian bridge at Lerchengasse.
On the right bank of the Wulka, a picturesque footpath will lead you near the water until you reach the beginning of the Right Wulkazeile.
At the fire station, cross Magdalenenweg. Between the fire station and the Wulka, there's a comfortable path for pedestrians that leads into the roadway of the Right Wulkazeile. The walk ends at the federal road bridge.
Three playgrounds along the route
Families with small children will find the three playgrounds located along the route a welcome change.
The approximately 2-kilometer hike can be described as a true enjoyment of art and nature. Additionally, you will get to know parts of the picturesque town center of the municipality of Trausdorf.
We wish you a lot of fun on your walk along the Art Mile by the Wulka!
