Here you are welcomed by Mr. Günther Hoffmann, the ceramics master and museum director of the pottery museum Stoob, which is not far away.
"I learned pottery at the well-known company Larnhof in Stoob. After that, I worked for years at Gitta Kermik in Markt St. Martin. As the only potter in the company, the ceramics got my own handwriting. After my boss retired I started my own business and returned to my home town with my „Stoober Töpferstadl“. Inspired by many trips abroad (Australia, America, Spain, ...) I create vessels in old style and new splendor. In affectionate manual work each piece becomes thus the unique piece." - Günther Hoffmann
If you are already in Stoob, you absolutely must pay a visit to the Stoob Pottery Museum. It documents the centuries-old craft tradition that is still maintained today in this small municipality in central Burgenland
