Ökoturisztikai látogatóközpont nyílt a Bükk északi lábánál festői környezetben fekvő falucskában, Mályinkán. Az ökoturisztikai látogatóközpont célja, hogy bemutassa a környék élővilágát és a hagyományos erdészeti mesterségeket.
A Látogatóközpont is kedvezményekkel várja a Természetjáró Kártya tulajdonosokat. Tudj meg többet a Természetjáró Kártyáról (TEKA), a kedvezményekért kattints ide!
Mályinka lakói főleg erdei foglalkozásokat űztek, emellett a földjeiket művelték. Több fő foglalkozásuk is volt, mint a hamuzsírégetés, faszénégetés, mészégetés, fakitermelés, és a fuvarozás. Ezeket a régi mesterségeket nézegethetik, tanulmányozhatják a látogatók a kiállított makettek segítségével.
A látogatóközpont bemutatja a Bükk állat- és növényvilágát, interaktív fal segítségével fedezhetik fel a vadon élő állatok lakhelyeit, illetve élethű nagyságú maketteket csodálhatnak meg. A kiállításban nem kapnak helyet preparátumok, minden bemutatott állat természetes anyagokból ( farost, papír, gyapjú, stb.) készült.
