Der Ramsteinerhof mit traditioneller Käseherstellunjg
At the organically farmed Ramsteinerhof, you can buy cheese from our own production directly from the farm. Thanks to our 24-hour self-service fridge, you are not tied to any opening hours.
Grandma Elfriede' makes delicious cheese from some of the organic milk produced on the farm. With 'Bibiliskäse', a regional speciality; Tilsiter style in various flavours of natural, Arabiata, wild garlic, herbs, chilli and many more, through to cheese preserved in cherry brandy; Bergmattekäse and Weißschimmelchen, everyone will find something to suit their taste.
The cheeses, weighing 6-8kg, are then placed in a salt bath for two days and mature for at least 6 weeks in the vaulted cellar. Grandma Elfriede' lovingly takes care of the daily maintenance.
In addition to cheese, you can buy many other regional products at the Ramsteinerhof:

There are four holiday flats of different sizes on our farm, which you can book all year round.
