In Salzgitter-Engerode, Carola Ittermann produces a wide variety of fruit spreads. These can be purchased at numerous (regional) fairs or ordered on-site.
In keeping with the season, local fruits are simmered down into delicious fruit spreads. With catchy names on the labels and colorful decorations on the lids, these fruit spreads are a popular souvenir from Salzgitter. They are also available at the Haars farm store in Salzgitter-Ohlendorf.

From the north, take the A39 and exit at Salzgitter-Watenstedt; from the south, take the B248 or B6 and exit at Salzgitter-Bad Süd. Then turn onto the Nord-Süd-Straße and take the Engerode/Calbecht/Ostfalia Hochschule exit. Turn right into the Engerode neighborhood. Follow the main street until just before the end; Carolas Fruchtaufstrich is on the right.Parking
