Medieval village that communicated directly with the castle above, which could only be climbed from inside the town. To access the fortified village it was necessary to pass the ancient ogival door that still shows the robust closing preparations.
The houses appear arranged along the district that leads to San Lorenzo, where the church of the same name is located. They are defended by the cliff that rises from the Gòla path and by the steep sloping terraces in the Magnone valley. The walls that close the town to the northeast support a seventeenth-century tower. In the clearing below are the old fountain and an early medieval tomb that came to light in the upper area of Tenno.
