Ihr Zentralbau in Form eines Oktogons war noch sichtbarer im 11. Jahrhundert: da sah man nur noch einen Kirchturm-Portalvorbau und ein bescheidenes Kirchenchor. Die Kapellen wurden erst am Ende des Mittelalters angebaut. Die gotischen Fresken, die größtenteils nach 1460 gemalt worden sind, wurden nach einem Brand in 1991 sorgfältig restauriert.
