Die spätgotische Madonna des Gnadenaltares „Maria am Stein“ - umgeben vom Hl. Joachim und der Hl. Anna - stellt Maria als Königin des Himmels dar. Im 17. Jahrhundert entwickelte sich um das Gnadenbild „Maria am Stein“ eine bedeutende Wallfahrerbewegung – auch, weil die Kirche als erste Leopold-Kirche Österreichs dem damals neuen Heiligen 1507 geweiht worden ist.
Auch der um die Kirche liegende Bergfriedhof lädt mit seinen schönen Grabkreuzen zur Besinnung ein.
