Eine der beeindruckendsten ländlichen Kirchen der Region in Sachrang ist die barocke Pfarrkirche St. Michael aus dem Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts.
Die Pfarrkirche St. Michael beeindruckt nicht nur durch ihre Lage im historischen Dorffriedhof, sondern vor allem durch ihr reiche Ausstattung. Die Kirche war ursprünglich romanisch, doch die heutige Kirche wurde in den Jahren 1687/88 nach den Vorstellungen der italienischen Architekten Giovanni Gaspare Zuccalli und Lorenzo Sciasca mit finanzieller Unterstützung der Grafen Preysing von Hohenaschau in der „italienischen“ Stilphase bayerischer Barockkunst errichtet. Der Neubau war notwendig, da die romanische Kirche nicht restaurierbar war zu dieser Zeit. Das Deckengemälde wurde von Simon Zaglacher im Jahre 1768 geschaffen. 1806 wurde die Kirche in den Stand der Pfarrkirche erhoben.
Der Grabstein des bekannten Müllner Peter ist an der Kirchenmauer zu finden.
