Nejstarší dochovanou stavební památkou v renesanční Telči je pozdně románská věz sv. Ducha. Její kostel sloužil krátce jako divadlo a nyní patří Českobratrské církvi evangelické.
Kostel sv. Ducha v Telči na Jihlavsku byl postaven těsně k tamní věži, která měla ještě další funkce, jako obranu, reprezentaci a zvonici. Původní půdorys románského kostela a zeměpanského dvorce nelze určit. První zmínky pochází z roku 1414, kdy tu páni z Hradce zřídili špitál. A o několik let později byl kostel přestavěný do dnešní gotické podoby. Během působení Josefa II. kostel uzavřeli a přeměnili na skladitě a o sto let později byl opuštěný kostel přestavěn na městské divadlo. Ten fungoval až do roku 1920. Od té doby slouží Českobratrské církvi evangelické.
Mezi žebry klenby jsou fresky čtyř evangelistů. V apsidě i lodi se nacházejí původní okna s rozmanitým provedením kružeb, mezi apsidou a lodí kostela se nachází gotický triumfální oblouk. V hlavní ose klenby apsidy se zachovaly zbytky polychromie – znak pánů z Hradce, tedy pětilistá růže, a monogram M.
