Stadt Grimma in der LEIPZIG REGION
Die Klosterkirche wurde bis zur Reformation um 1541 vom Orden der Augustiner-Eremiten genutzt, anschließend bis 1937 als Kirche der angrenzenden Fürsten- und Landesschule zu Grimma, dann bis 1975 – aufgrund eines Nutzungsvertrages mit der Stadt Grimma als Gebäude-Eigentümerin – gelegentlich als evangelisch-lutherisches Gotteshaus.
Nach Leerstand, baupolizeilicher Sperrung und großflächigem Einsturz des Daches 1989 wurde nach dem Zusammenbruch der DDR das Dach erneuert und die Umnutzung als kulturelle Veranstaltungshalle für Konzerte und Märkte ermöglicht.
