The branch church of St. Lambert is a late Gothic structure that has mostly been modernized. The chalice from the 17th century is richly adorned and bears the inscription: "Georg Simon Seidner 1735". Seidner was the founder of the chapel of St. Nepomuk in Stadelbach. This allows the conclusion that this chalice was used at the chapel of St. Nepomuk at that time and was taken to St. Lambert after its demolition.
Töplitsch, Filialkirche St. Lambert
Das Kirchlein liegt am nordöstlichen Dorfrand und ist von einer Friedhofsmauer umgeben. Der Ursprung der kleinen gotischen Dorfkirche mit einem hölzernen Dachreiter mit Spitzgiebelhelm und einem westlichen Vordach reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück. Laut einer Urkunde von 1428 vertauschte Hermann Graf von Cilli je eine Hube zu Töplitsch und zu St. Johann in der Pfarre Villach-St. Martin. Nach einer Urkunde von 1664 erwirkte der Patron Martin Widmann, Graf zu Ortenburg, beim Patriarchen, dass das Gotteshaus St. Lambert in Töpltisch der Pfarre St. Ulrich in Kellerberg als Tochterkirche (Filiale) einverleibt wurde. Bis zur Mitte des 17. Jhs. gehörte das Dorf Töplitsch zur Pfarre St. Martin/Villach. Die Kirche hat ein Langhaus mit Flachdecke sowie einen 1-jochigen Chor mit 3/8 Schluss und Netzgratgewölbe. Im Chorjoch befinden sich nachbarocke Malereien , links Gang der hl. Familie über das Gebirge und rechts die hl. Sippe. Der Hochaltar (E. 17. Jh.) zeigt im Mittelbild die Krönung Mariens und im Aufsatzbild den hl. Lambert.
