Die Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt in Chieming wurde 1885 nach Plänen des Münchner Architekten Johann Marggraff im neuromanischen Stil erbaut. Der kreuzgewölbte Saalbau mit halbrunder Apsis beherbergt drei in den Glockenturm eingemauerte römische Weihesteine aus dem Vorgängerbau. Innen gestalten kunstvolle Fresken, Apostelfiguren und ein Altarbild von Max Fürst aus Reichenhall die sakrale Atmosphäre.
