Neskorogotický kostol z konca 15. stor.

Na mieste dnešného ev. kostola v Dobšinej stála gotická kaplnka sv. Valentína z 1. pol. 14. stor. a neskorogotický kostol z konca 15. stor. V roku 1641 boli obidve stavby spojené do jedného celku a v roku 1727 bol kostol rozšírený o priečnu loď a následne spojený so samostatne stojacou vežou. V roku 1855 počas požiaru mesta zhorel aj kostol, ktorý následne opravili a zariadili do súčasnej podoby vysokými drevenými emporami. V roku 1891 bol exteriér kostola upravený v neogotickom slohu podľa adaptačného projektu arch. K. Benku a v roku 1902 vymaľoval interiér kostola secesným rastlinným dekorom rožňavský maliar W. Wolfram pôvodom z Viedne.
