The Wittlisberg Chapel is in an idyllic spot at the edge of the forest. It is a perfect place from which to explore the surrounding area.
On 14 July 1995, renovation work on the Wittlisberg Chapel began. The building work, which was managed by the architects Eberhard Barth and Erich Zumkeller, was well organised. The new chapel was thus completed on 17 November 1995 and dedicated to the patron saint Anna.
Every year in July, the Wittlisberg Chapel celebrates this patronage by holding the so-called “Anna Fest”. Another yearly event at the chapel is the “Waldweihnacht” on 23 December, a pre-Christmas event.
