The exterior of the chapel is dominated by a porch that rests upon two tuff columns with Ionian capitals. The door frame of the main entrance and the window frames on both sides of the entrance are also constructed from tuff. The onion dome spire is also eye-catching.
The main altar in the chapel’s interior dates from the year 1682 and is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The large altarpiece does not depict the Holy Trinity, but instead shows the fifth Glorious Mystery of the Rosary: ‘who crowned you, O virgin, in heaven’. The side altars are dedicated to the Virgin Mary and John the Baptist. An impressive crucifix draws the eyes of visitors towards the choir arch. The chapel’s organ was built in 1806.
The chapel was extensively renovated between 1976–1981.
