Die Hirczy-Kapelle in Oberhenndorf (Henndorf-Therme) wurde von Franz Hirczy im Jahr 1902 erbaut und 1922 mit einem Turm erweitert. Der Erbauer Hirczy war einer der ersten Amerika-Auswanderer im Jahr 1880 nach Pittsburg (USA).
Aus Dankbarkeit für die zur damaligen Zeit noch sehr gefahrvolle 3-wöchige Atlantiküberquerung sowie seines durch Fleiß erworbenen Wohlstandes und seiner Heimatliebe hat er diese Kapelle, die größte der Stadtgemeinde Jennersdorf, errichten lassen.
Seine immer wieder kehrenden Heimatbesuche waren für die ganze Bevölkerung ein großes Fest. Fanz Hirzcy verstarb auch anlässlich eines dieser Aufenthalte am 13. Juni 1922 in Henndorf.
Die Hirczy-Kapelle wurde vor einigen Jahren generalsaniert und modernisiert und ist nunmehr ein beliebter Ort für viele Besucher der Therme Loipersdorf zur Einkehr und Besinnung.
