Biserica Scoarței Cave is located on the right slope of the Ponoraș Valley, about 3 km upstream from the confluence with the Cobliș stream, at an altitude of 1050 m.

Biserica Scoarței Cave is located on the right slope of the Ponoraș Valley, about 3 km upstream from the confluence with the Cobliș stream, at an altitude of 1050 m. Formed in lower Neocomian-Aptian limestone, the cave stretches 361 meters, with an additional ~100 meters unexplored beyond a siphon. It features a vertical difference of 32 meters. This is a unique speleological site in the Apuseni Mountains, perfect for hiking, cave exploration, and nature observation.
