Das Schloss liegt an einem Berghang oberhalb von St. Johann. Von 1498 bis zum Ende des 18. Jh. Befand es sich im Besitz der Familie Siegersdorff; ab 1851 im Besitz der Familie Henckel-Donnersmarck.
Von der spätgotischen, ehemals größeren Schlossanlage aus dem 16. Jh. ist heute noch ein dreigeschossiger Bau erhalten. An der Nordostecke befindet sich ein zweigeschossiger Erker auf Kragsteinen mit einem Konsolkopf.
