Az ingyenesen használható strand Balatonvilágos északi részén, majdnem a Club Aliga lenti bejárata mellett található. A Zrínyi utcából egy viszonylag szűk átjáró vezet le a szabadstrandhoz, tábla jelzi.
A strand kissé vadregényes jellege miatt főleg azoknak ajánlott, akik a zsúfolt környezet helyett a csendes, békés fürdőzést részesítik előnyben. A füves területen néhány nagyobb fa ad árnyékot, a partot nagyobb kavicsok borítják. A napozóterületet a víztől nádas zárja el, a parton büfét találunk egy apró játszótér szomszédságában. Biciklitárolót is találunk a területen.
A vízbe két lejáró is vezet: egy köves, lassan mélyülő ösvény, és egy hosszú stég, ami a nádason át vezet a vízhez.

- A vonatról Balatonaliga állomásnál szálljunk le.

- Az állomáson induljunk el a peron mentén dél, Balatonvilágos felé. A magasparton találunk egy gyalogos lejárót, ami levisz a partra. A Csalogány utcán forduljunk balra, kijutunk a Zrínyi utcára. Balra találjuk a strandot (900 m).

- A strand előtt parkolhatunk ingyen.
