Kuhmon keskustan viihtyisällä uimarannalla on mukava viettää kesäpäivää.
Kuhmon kaupungin ylläpitämä Ruukinranta sijaitsee aivan Kuhmon keskustassa Kuhmo-talon takana.
UImaranta yhteydessä olevat pukuhuoneet Rantapaviljongissa ovat auki koulujen kesälomien aikaan kesä-elokuussa. Soveltuu hyvin lapsille. Uimaranta ei ole valvottu!
Syvyys laiturin päässä yli 300 cm.
