Der Baggersee Giesen befindet sich westlich von Hochstetten und ist namensgleich mit dem Nachbarsee auf der Gemarkung Liedolsheim. Dieser Baggersee ist nach der Auskiesung als Bade- und Natursee rekultiviert worden und zeichnet sich durch den flach abfallenden Badestrand und seine gepflegten Liegewiesen mit Sonnen- und Schattenflächen aus. Der nördliche Teil ist nur zum Angeln zugelassen, innerhalb der südlichen Badezone ist auch das Tauchen erlaubt.
