From the recently renovated monestary of Mariastein through the wooded hills to Kleinlützel.

We set off from Basel to try a new way across Switzerland, the Way of the Three Lakes to join up with our first way from Constance to Geneva. Our starting point was at Basel Dreispitz railway station, just outside the town and close to the St. Jakob stadium that we had gone past on our first way from Basel to Bern (Baslerweg), and ended up at Mariastein.
