Nature trails in Kappelrodeck

This entertaining circular route is especially recommended for families with small children! Over about two and a half kilometers, we tell you the legend of the witch from Dasenstein in a child-friendly way. If you participate in the online quiz, there is also a small surprise for you!

A beautiful forest hike which leads up to Kusseich via the forest nature trail. Afterwards, it passes Kutzenstein and goes to the Kreuztanne.

Following in the footsteps of Hans Jakob Christoffel von Grimmelshausen, we hike from the Grimmelshausen town of Renchen along the Grimmelshausen circular trail through the foothills of the Renchtal valley. Along the way, there are magnificent views of the Hornisgrinde, the Rhine plain and the Vosges mountains.

This stage of the Ortenau Wine Trail offers a wonderful view over the Rhine Plain between Neusatz and Kappelrodeck as well as opportunities to stop for refreshments.

The Agricultural Adventure Trail Ottenhöfen is an 8.5 km long circular hiking trail. Along the way, 12 interactive theme boards provide insights into the traditional management of the valley and the landscape changes in Ottenhöfen over the centuries. Three adventure areas focused on the landscape-shaping elements water, wood, and stone also invite you to linger, play, and romp around. The three new outdoor marble runs installed along the adventure trail guarantee great fun. Get your LEPO diploma! Equipped with the LEPO puzzle sheet and a pen, attentive children can answer many tricky questions along the path. Those who determine the correct solution word will receive the coveted LEPO diploma from the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park. On the way with the comic hero "Lepo's Adventure" is a short story for children in the form of a comic. Along the way, "Lepo's Adventure" can be experienced live at the original locations of the story. --- The route can be walked with an all-terrain stroller / sport buggy----

Varied and scenic hike through the vineyards of Waldulm to the Ringelbacher Cross and Kutzenstein. Beautiful views into the Waldulm valley. Impressive rocks at Kutzenstein. The legend trail "Kutzenstein" is route 4 of the total 32 Ortenau legend trails.
