First, we experience the town of Sonthofen with its pedestrian zone and the Ecological Park. During the ascent to Sonthofer and Altstädter Hof and while crossing several summits at Sonnenkopf and Heidelbeerkopf, we enjoy numerous breathtaking views into the Iller valley, towards the Hörner group and Nagelfluh chain, into the Hindelang mountain range, and into the Kleinwalsertal with the distinctive Ifen and the Gottesacker plateau.
