Wonderful route on the Grünten. Very few people until reaching the Grüntenhütte, but from the Grüntenhütte to the summit, much more.😂
Up to the Grüntenhütte, it is a very pleasant family route; the ascent to the summit is then a bit sweaty.

Start at the Weihele parking lot (6 euros or the Parkster app) and hike up through Wustbachtobel to the Grüntenhaus. Continue past the Bayrischer Rundfunk Bahn summit station to the ridge and the hunters’ memorial. Continue over the Rossberg to the Zweifelgehrenalpe, then descend to the upper Schwandalpe (place to stop for a break) and down to the paved road. Follow this road past the Alpe Topfen and Am Alpenblick, back to the starting point at the Alpe Weihele. Another place to stop for a break.

In this video, I take you on a spring mountain hike to one of the most famous peaks of the Allgäu Alps, namely the Grünten (1738m). More precisely, the route goes via the normal path over the Burgberger Hörnle (1497m) and Siechenkopf (1572m) to the Übelhorn (Grünten).
